About Orienteering Australia

Orienteering Australia Inc. is the federation of the Australian State and Territory Orienteering Associations. The primary objectives of Orienteering Australia are to encourage, promote and coordinate the sport of Orienteering in Australia.

The national office of Orienteering Australia is located at ACT Sports House, 100 Maitland Street, Hackett ACT 2602 and staffed part-time.

Governance 

Orienteering Australia is governed by a Council comprising representatives from each State and an elected Board of 6-8 Directors.  Day-to-day business and matters arising between Council meetings are the responsibility of the Board. In addition a number of Committees and Officers contribute specialist advice to the Board and Council.
