National League

Australia's premier domestic series contested by States & Territories

National Orienteering league

The National Orienteering League, known as NOL, is Australia’s premier elite domestic competition with 3 – 4 rounds held in the Autumn season.

It is primarily a team competition with individuals racing to gain points for their state team. It also provides a great opportunity to socialise with those from other state teams, continuing and building new friendships from junior years.

Current NOL Results

The 2024 NOL results are available on the NOL team Information page.

Who can run in it?

The NOL has four categories:
Senior men and women (>20 years of age) and junior men and women (up to 20 years).

For each category there is an elite class for those wanting to race at the highest level, and a sports class for those who may have other priorities. Both classes score points and contribute to their teams’ performance.
