Event 1: Sprint Distance Keithcott Farm, Wynvale Elite Classes: M/W21E, M/W17-20E
Format: Interval start race, winning times 12-15 mins
Other Classes: 4 courses for non-elite runners Controller: Phil Hazell

Start Times: Sat 21 from ~10:00 am for elites
Located in Adelaide NE suburbs about 45 mins from Adelaide airport

Event 2: Middle Distance and OY Event, Para Wirra NP, One Tree Hill

Elite Classes: M/W21E, M/W17-20E.
Format for Elites: Courses with butterfly loops, chasing start based on Sprint event results.  Middle Distance winning times.
OY Event for non-elite classes: Standard OY Classes for SA events (details on entry form)

Start Times: Sat 21 from ~3 pm for elites
Located: NE of Adelaide, approximately 30 mins from the morning event and 45 minutes from Adelaide CBD
Map: Para Wirra National Park, 1:10 000 5 m contours, map updated in 2003 by Adrian Uppill with updates in 2008-09 by Ken Thompson and Adrian Uppill

Event 3: Long Distance and Badge Event, Narrinyeri Hills, near Murray Bridge

Elite Classes: M/W21E, M/W17-20E.
Format for Elites: Mass start loop race, separate mass start for each course.  Winning times 50-55 mins for open elite women, 65-70 mins for open elite men.  Same course for junior and senior elites.
Other Classes: Standard badge classes for SA events
A Classes: M/W 10(very easy), M/W 12(easy), M/W 14(moderate), M/W16, M/W17-20A,M/W21A, M/W35, M/W45, M/W55, M/W65, M/W75+ (hard)
A Short classes: M/W21(Open), M/W45-54, M/W55+ ( all hard navigation)
B Classes: M/W12 (v. easy), M/W14 (easy), M/W Open (moderate), M/W45+ (moderate)

Note: This is the CLIPSAL car race weekend, hence consider making accomodation arrangements as soon as possible.

Substitute Events: The Middle Distance event is in National Park property and the Long Distance Event land managed by Forestry SA.  If hot weather means access to these areas is not possible, alternative events will still be held in other areas around Adelaide at appropriate times e.g. earlier on Sunday morning and Saturday evening.  Any changes will be posted to www.sa.orienteering.asn.au
