Orienteering Australia is calling for nominations for the Australian team to compete at JWOC 2017 in Finland. Nominations should be submitted via the JWOC nomination “event” on eventor: JWOC nomination form Nominations close on February 17. Please also refer to the December OA news item which describes the selection process for the team.

Australian Sprint and Long Distance Championships results and splits

Congratulations to Australian long distance championship winners Hanny Allston & Matt Crane.   Hanny’s winning margin was almost 4 minutes from Grace Crane (Tas), with Lizzie Ingham (NZ) in 3rd.  This adds a 4th long title for Hanny, with previous wins in 2005, 2007 and 2008.
