Orienteering Australia is excited to announce the national launch of KID-O, a program designed to give children a fun and engaging introduction to orienteering. KID-O offers families a space where kids can develop navigation and gross motor skills while enjoying nature play and building social connections with other children.

To help get KID-O established in your local area, Orienteering Australia is offering Seed Funding of $750 to support new KID-O initiatives. We will also send you banners, sticker books and stickers; which kids love! Interested clubs and organisations can apply by following the simple steps outlined in the Google Form.

To support program leaders, new KID-O Facilitator Training is now available on the Orienteering Learning Centre. This training equips facilitators with the skills and resources needed to run engaging KID-O sessions.

For more information on the program, resources, and how to get started, visit the new KID-O website. KID-O is a fantastic way to introduce children to the joys of orienteering, exploring the outdoors and support more families to join orienteering.

Apply today and bring KID-O to your events!
