As no nominations were received by the closing date of 14 January, the closing date for
nominations for the Silva Award for Services to Coaching and the David Hogg Medal for
Services to Event Management has been extended to 10 February 2025.
Can you think of anyone who has given exceptional service in either of these areas, either
recently or over an extended period, who is worthy of nomination, and who has not already
received the relevant award?
If so, please contact your state association to encourage the preparation of a nomination.

on the OA website (under ‘Resources’), with past winners listed in ‘Awards’ (under ‘Get
Involved’).
