
Orienteering Australia (OA) is currently inviting Expressions of Interests (EOIs) for two paid roles: Manager, Coaching Development and Manager, Athlete Development.
Orienteering Australia is responsible for delivering both strategic direction and operational outcomes for the sport nationwide. To do this effectively, OA engages a range of skilled professionals in contracted roles aligned with the Strategic and Activity Plans.
Manager, Coaching Development:
This position offers a unique opportunity to shape and support the development of coaching across all levels of the sport in Australia. The role aims to develop the number and quality of coaches and enhance the quality of coaching activities. This aligns with OA’s strategic plan to strive towards Great Opportunities giving all orienteers, regardless of their current level in the sport, the opportunity to improve their skills to maximise their participation in and enjoyment of orienteering.
Manager, Athlete Development:
This position offers a unique opportunity to shape and support the development of High Performance athletes. The role aims to support athlete improvement at the Talent, Performance and Excellence stage. This aligns with OA’s strategic plan to strive towards Great Performances by achieving results on the international stage with a high-performance program connected to the orienteering community via a commitment to juniors and development squads.
