Orienteering World Cup Nominations Reopen: Round 3 & 4

OA is reopening nominations to represent Australia at the 3rd and 4th round of the Orienteering World Cup:

  • Round 3 (European Orienteering Champs – Forest). 17-20 August. Mór, Hungary. IOF Eventor
  • Round 4 (Forest and Sprint). 27-29 September. Kuopio, Finland. IOF Eventor

Team size will be determined by the number of nominations, with a maximum of 4 runners in each race for each gender. More details on selection criteria can be found in the Other Teams Selection Criteria document.

Athletes who have previously nominated are asked to please confirm their intention to attend a world cup round by emailing the HP administrator at hpadmin@orienteering.asn.au. The list of current nominations can be found here.

Caitlin Young

Nominations have been reopened and will close on Sunday 19th of May at 11:59pm. The nomination form can be found here. Athletes are asked to only nominate if they will attend the event if selected.

World Cup 3 and 4 Team Manager/s

OA is also seeking expressions of interest for a team manager for World Cup Round 3 and 4. Attending athletes can nominate to also manage the team they are a part of. OA funding is available to subsidise the travel costs of this manager. If you are interested in managing this team, please contact at hpadmin@orienteering.asn.au with a brief outline of your experience/qualifications by no later than Sunday 19th of May at 11:59pm.
