Operations Guide

The Operations Guide of Orienteering Australia provides the operational framework for orienteering within Australia.

About the guide

The Guide is a set of policies, guidelines and procedures to inform the day-to-day operations of orienteering across Australia for the administration and governance of the sport, the organisation and conduct of events, the delivery of performance programs and coaching, the building of relationships within and outside the orienteering community and enhancing opportunities to engage with the sport.

Documents within this Edition 6 of the Orienteering Australia Operations Guide supersede all previous editions.

Documents within the Guide are grouped by areas aligned to the Orienteering Australia Strategic Plan, that is, Organisation, Events, Performance, Relationships and Opportunities. Conduct and Disciplinary polices sit as a separate grouping within this Guide.

Documents related to Orienteering Australia’s compliance with the Sport Integrity Australia National Integrity Framework (NIF) are to the found under the Integrity page.
