Thank you for helping your patrol experience orienteering. It is a great sport for challenging the body and mind.

We would love to support you to learn more about orienteering. We’ve already seen the positive results of orienteering and scouts partnering together. Gordon from Orienteering Queensland has been working with Brian from Bayside Scouts to:

• Educate scout leaders on how to organise a safe, educational and enjoyable orienteering experience
• Facilitate orienteering events on scout properties
• Create the required safety forms

Hundreds of Brisbane scouts and their leaders are now benefiting from engaging in orienteering. They have enjoyed learning navigational skills, developing confidence to travel in the bush and working together as a team.
