2025 OA Merit Badges

The recipients of Orienteering Australia (OA) merit badges in 2025 have been published on the Awards page of the OA. Merit badges recognise the achievements of a consistent orienteering standard relative to one’s age-group peers.

In 2025, 209 badges were awarded. Badges awarded were 91 gold, 67 silver, and 51 bronze. Youngest recipients of a merit badge were in the W10 class and the eldest were in the M85 class. The most merit badges were awarded to participants in the W16 class with 15 awarded.

OA thanks our Badge Scheme Secretary, John Oliver, for his continued work in collating these merit badges being awarded.
