EYOC 2025 – SPRINT

Photo taken by Vanessa Freeman

Today was an absolutely surreal day at EYOC2025! It was the SPRINT. Technical, thrilling, tricky and fast.

Hayden DENT delivered a terrific performance at his first EYOC in M16 and took the 4th place only 12 seconds behind the podium and in 23 seconds from the winner.

For a very long time he stayed 2nd and then 3rd. And only the second last runner moved Hayden to the 4th. See the photos to experience the atmosphere of this very memorable for the AUS Team Prize-giving Ceremony!

3 more Australian athletes showed incredible top-25 performances at their first EYOC:

Euan BEST – 16th place (M18), Alton FREEMAN – 25th place (M16) and Liana STUBBS – 22nd place (W18).
