Extended: OA Awards and Hall of Fame Nominations

As no nominations for some OA awards and Hall of Fame inductions for 2026 were received by this week’s closing date, the closing date has been extended to 31 January 2026.

In particular, no nominations have been received for the Hall of Fame (Athlete or General Division), the David Hogg Medal for Services to Event Management, or the Rob Plowright Award for Services to Mapping.

Subject to their eligibility, unsuccessful nominations made in previous years may be resubmitted, with updating if appropriate. In addition to the information in the OA Operations Guide 5.5 and 5.6, it is recommended to refer to the supplementary advice sent to member associations on 2 November 2025, which provides further guidance on eligibility and on the preparation of nominations. This can be resent on request.

If further advice or clarification is required, contact David Hogg (Manager, National Awards) on 0427 023 252.
