Orienteering Australia is calling for nominations for the Australian Team Leader for the Australia–New Zealand MTBO Challenge, to be held in conjunction with the Australian MTBO Championships at Ballarat in October.
The Team Leader will coordinate the Australian team before and during the Challenge, liaise with the New Zealand Team Manager, communicate event information to team members, coordinate team jerseys and assist with presentations and team publicity.
We are looking for someone with a good knowledge of MTBO, strong communication and organisational skills, and the ability to create a positive and supportive team environment. Previous experience leading sporting or community groups would be an advantage. The position is voluntary, with appropriate expenses reimbursed.
