NSO Recognition Agreement from ASC- 2024-2026

We are pleased to advise that the Australian Sports Commission (ASC) offers recognition of Orienteering
Australia as the national sporting organisation (NSO) for orienteering until 30 June 2026.

The Australian Sports Commission (ASC) provides recognition status to national sporting organisations (NSOs) and national sporting organisations for people with disability (NSODs) to help achieve the Australian Government’s sporting objectives.

ASC recognition is designed to establish a minimum standard of operation and is a key step in NSO/Ds being eligible for ASC investment.

The ASC thanks Orienteering Australia for the time and effort required to submit the evidence required to demonstrate our organisation’s compliance with the ASC 2024-26 recognition criteria.

Following the assessment of our submission, the ASC is pleased to confirm that our organisation has provided sufficient evidence to demonstrate our compliance with the recognition criteria and is pleased to offer our organisation recognition for the following period: 1 July 2024 – 30 June 2026.
