Oceania 2026 Sprint Orienteering Championships – Bulletin 1 Released

Held in the beautiful Central Coast of NSW, the 2026 Oceania Sprint Orienteering Championships Carnival (24-26 January 2026) is where you will be able to run in these events and enjoy the local beaches, cafes and restaurants all within easy reach of the venues.

The Elites will be contesting for a place at the World Orienteering Championships- Sprint and the winner will receive an automatic selection to WOC. This event will be Round 1 of the National Orienteering League and a selection trial for the Australian Elites for the World Orienteering Sprint Championships 2026 in Genoa (Genova) Italy. The Knock Out Sprint and the Individual Sprint Championship races will be World Ranking Events and attract WR points.

This will be the Inaugural Sprint the Coast! A first for the Central Coast Orienteers. You will be able to watch the best elites from Oceania battle it out for a chance to go to the World Champs in Italy and then be able to test yourself in the same terrain and challenging courses.
