Orienteering Australia is now a Company

OA Company Post Graphic

Last week we were advised by ASIC that we had met all the requirements in our transition to a company limited by guarantee structure. Orienteering Australia Inc. is now Orienteering Australia Ltd.

This transition has taken a number of years to complete and meets a key governance requirement for continued recognition by the Australian Sports Commission (ASC) so that Orienteering Australia is continues to be recognised by the ASC as the National Sporting Organisation (NSO) for orienteering in Australia.

Operationally little will change in how OA goes about its daily work to promote and grow participation in our sport and continue to develop our performance programs.
