Orienteering Australia has launched the Orienteering Research Survey to help us understand how we can make our sport more welcoming, accessible and enjoyable for everyone.
We’re asking every orienteer — from newcomers and occasional participants to long-time members — to complete the short survey. Your feedback will play a vital role in shaping Orienteering Australia’s Participation Plan 2026–2029 and guide future initiatives to help more people experience the joy of orienteering.
But we don’t just want to hear from current orienteers — we also want to reach those who are one step away from joining in. Please share the survey with your friends, family, colleagues and neighbours. It’s a great opportunity to start a conversation about orienteering, explain what makes it fun and even invite someone along to an event.
The survey takes only 3–5 minutes to complete and closes on 31 October 2025. Everyone who participates goes into the prize draw to win some fantastic rewards, including:
